Accessibility Consulting Partners

Major milestones

On May 16, 2024, Accessibility Consulting Partners, Inc. (ACP) was founded with a clear mission: to break down barriers and ensure accessibility for all. One year later, we are proud to announce that we have successfully built 27 new client and project relationships, delivering high-quality accessibility solutions that make public spaces, facilities, and digital platforms more inclusive.

Commitment to Excellence

From the start, ACP has demonstrated its capacity to manage projects of any scale, ensuring that each is executed precisely and in adherence to compliance standards. Among the 27 projects we have taken on, 16 have been completed with outstanding results. We are on track to complete 4 additional projects by the end of the month, demonstrating our ability to meet project goals effectively.

Our reach now extends coast to coast, with our headquarters in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and new offices in Sacramento, California, and Clayton, North Carolina. This strategic expansion enables us to better serve municipalities, government agencies, and private clients across the United States, offering comprehensive assessments, detailed reporting, and tailored solutions that address accessibility challenges head-on.

We believe that accessibility is not just about compliance—it’s about creating welcoming, safe, and inclusive environments for all individuals. Every project we undertake is approached with this vision in mind, ensuring that our solutions are practical and sustainable for long-term community impact.

Strategic Partnerships

Building strong partnerships has been essential to our growth. Over the past year, we have secured collaborations with:

  • An engineering company focused on barrier removal and infrastructure accessibility. Their expertise has been instrumental in addressing structural barriers, enhancing mobility, and ensuring compliance with ADA and PROWAG standards.
  • A website assessment and development company committed to ensuring digital platforms are accessible and compliant. Our combined efforts have resulted in the enhancement of online accessibility, making websites and mobile applications usable for all individuals, regardless of ability.
  • A data collection tool supplier that enhances our field assessments and improves data accuracy. With this partnership, we have elevated our Public Right-of-Way (PROW) Assessments, ADA Self-Evaluations, and Transition Plans to meet federal and state standards, including ADA, PROWAG, and MUTCD guidelines.

Leading with Expertise

Accessibility is not just a service we provide—it’s a responsibility we uphold. Our team remains committed to staying informed on the latest standards and best practices. According to the U.S. Access Board, accessibility is a crucial aspect of public infrastructure, and ACP is dedicated to aligning every project with these standards.

We understand that true accessibility goes beyond the checklist; it’s about creating spaces that everyone can navigate comfortably and independently. Our attention to detail ensures that each project reflects this commitment.

Looking Ahead

As we reflect on our first year, we remain focused on expanding our reach and deepening our impact in communities across the nation. Our goals for the coming year include:

  • Expanding Our Presence: Growing our offices in Colorado, California, and North Carolina, while exploring new regions for growth.
  • Building Stronger Relationships: Working closely with local governments, state agencies, and private developers to enhance accessibility.
  • Driving Innovation: Using advanced technology like GIS mapping, data collection tools, and cloud-based reporting to improve how accessibility is measured and implemented.
  • Fostering Community Impact: Ensuring that every project meets compliance and contributes to inclusive and accessible environments for all.

We are committed to our mission: to make accessibility the standard, not the exception.
