Title II

Title II:

At Accessibility Consulting Partners, Inc. (ACP), we specialize in providing tailored accessibility and compliance solutions for state and local entities. We assist municipalities, schools, and businesses in meeting the ADA and other regulatory standards, creating inclusive environments for all individuals.

Self-Evaluation Transition Plans (SETPs)

Developing Self-Evaluation & Transition Plans (SETPs) is a core part of our work. We start by thoroughly evaluating an organization’s programs, services, and facilities to identify barriers to accessibility. From there, we develop a clear, actionable Transition Plan to address these barriers, focusing on immediate needs and long-term solutions. This ensures compliance with ADA Title II requirements while making public spaces and services accessible to all community members.

Policy Development for Accessibility

In addition to SETPs, we help organizations develop and update policies to ensure accessibility is built into their daily operations. Our team reviews existing policies or creates new ones that align with ADA standards and state-specific regulations. We aim to create policies that ensure equal access to public spaces and services and provide guidance on compliance with laws like the Fair Housing Act (FHA) and Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS).

Public Right-of-Way (PROW) Assessments

Our PROW assessments ensure that sidewalks, pedestrian signals, and curb ramps meet accessibility standards. By identifying and addressing barriers in public infrastructure, we help municipalities provide safe and accessible pedestrian routes and work to ensure compliance with the Public Right-of-Way Accessibility Guidelines (PROWAG) and ADA standards.

WCAG Consultancy for Digital Accessibility

In today’s digital world, accessibility extends to online spaces. We provide guidance on digital accessibility, helping clients meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards. This ensures that websites and online services are accessible to everyone, including individuals using assistive technology.

Certified Access Specialist (CASp) Assessments

In California, ACP offers Certified Access Specialist (CASp) assessments to ensure compliance with the California Building Code (CBC) Chapters 11A & 11B and ADA standards. Our CASp services include detailed inspections and plan reviews to identify and correct accessibility issues before they become costly problems.

Plan Reviews for Compliance

ACP also provides plan review services to ensure that new construction and renovations meet accessibility standards from the outset. We review projects for compliance with ADA, FHA, CBC, TAS, and ANSI A117.1 standards, working closely with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure that buildings are accessible and compliant with all regulations.

At ACP, we’re more than consultants—we’re partners in creating spaces that work for everyone. We provide practical, hands-on guidance to ensure compliance, remove barriers, and create inclusive environments that benefit the entire community.

Title III

At Accessibility Consulting Partners (ACP), we provide tailored solutions to help state and local entities ensure their spaces are fully accessible and meet ADA requirements. Our services start with comprehensive site assessments, where we identify physical barriers and provide clear, actionable plans to address them. Whether it’s a public facility or a private property, we help ensure that everything aligns with both ADA standards and state-specific regulations, including the California Building Code (CBC).

Our expertise includes Certified Access Specialist (CASp) inspections, Self-Evaluation Transition Plans (SETPs), and Public Right-of-Way (PROW) assessments. These services help entities improve accessibility and create functional environments for everyone, especially individuals with disabilities. We work closely with architects and contractors on new builds and renovations to integrate accessibility into every step of the process.

In addition to physical spaces, we also focus on digital accessibility through WCAG consulting, ensuring websites and online services are fully accessible. From providing accessible site navigation to ensuring compatibility with assistive technologies, our goal is to remove barriers in the digital space as well.

We assist with compliance on various levels, from the Fair Housing Act and Texas Accessibility Standards (TAS) to ANSI A117.1. Whether you’re updating existing spaces or planning new ones, ACP is your partner in creating accessible environments that meet regulatory requirements and go beyond compliance to serve people of all abilities.

Our end-to-end approach ensures that you’re covered from the initial assessment through implementation and beyond. We’re here to help you create environments where everyone feels welcome and supported, ensuring your organization meets its accessibility goals confidently.

Lawsuits

Our team provides expert testimony services to support clients involved in ADA litigation, DOJ actions, and “Drive-By Lawsuits.” With our deep understanding of ADA regulations, we deliver clear, reliable testimony to help untangle complex issues, explain compliance efforts, and stand by our client’s interests.
In regards to “Drive-By Lawsuits,” we will review any claims and analyze the specific claim(s), either confirming or disproving these through thorough on-site assessments. Our goal is to either help resolve these issues or help defend against baseless allegations. This not only supports your defense but also helps prevent future legal exposure.
With our team of experts, we focus on delivering clear, concise, credible, and impactful testimonies that strengthen your position in any legal disputes. Whether we’re confirming ADA compliance or recommending necessary improvements, our expert testimony helps you achieve favorable outcomes.

  • Consulting on Design Adjustments: Collaborating with design teams to meet accessibility requirements without compromising project goals.

Minimizing Risk and Ensuring Accessibility

Non-compliance with HUD or ABA regulations can lead to legal and financial risks. Our team provides expert guidance to mitigate these risks, including:

  • Risk Assessments: Identifying potential compliance issues before they become legal problems.
  • Compliance Reporting: Preparing the necessary documentation to demonstrate adherence to federal standards.

By partnering with us, clients can ensure compliance, avoid potential legal challenges, and promote inclusive, accessible environments for all. We aim to ensure that projects comply with HUD regulations, which govern housing and urban development initiatives, and ABA standards, which mandate accessibility for individuals with disabilities in facilities designed, built, altered, or leased with federal funds.
